Bamboo Root Duck with Green Boots - 6

In Bali, the roofs of houses are made from bamboo, once the bamboo is used, the roots are dug up and burned. This seems a waste in a country where there is poverty. Our bamboo-root ducks are made from these roots which are no longer needed, this company has taught locals to carve the ducks by hand, bringing much-needed employment to the area.
